Eva Olsson

The Holocaust was a dark time in history, and yesterday we had a survivor of the Holocaust come in to speak about it. Eva Olsson was 19 when she was told that she was going to make bricks. She had been living in a very small apartment in Hungry. She had to walk a very long time to boxcars. She had to stand up in these boxcards for many days. Many People died She ended up getting through it.

When she got to her destination all the people were put in a line. A man would tell them to either go left or right. If you went to the left you were killed. If you were sent to the right you were safe.

Eva was eventully sent to a different camp, The same place that Anne Frank had died. She became very sick and almost died. She was also very weak during this time. Fourtunatly soldiers came and got all of the prisnors free. Eva was brought to Sweden and that's where she met her husband. Unfourtunatly Eva's husband died when he was 38 because of a drunk driver.

The main lesson Eva tried to explain to us is that you should never say hate. Hate is what started world war 2, and many people died because of it.

MS team building day

MS team building day was lots of fun. I thought my team worked really well on the first activity. On the first activity we had to start at a set place and then try to get to a was another place. The only catch was that we were walking on wires and so was everyone else. It was really hard because the only thing that was holding you up was a small rope. We did really well on this because we worked together.

I don't think that we did as well on the second activity because two people in our group were on a sugar rush or something like that because they started to act crazy. Our instructer said that the second activity we did called "zig zag" was one of the hardest challenges. I don't believe him though because I looked at it and it took me about 10 seconds to figure out how to do it. We did end up finishing it but it took us a while. If we had to do it again it could probably finish it quicker.

I thought overall our day was lots of fun! I didn't like the drum circle as much as the rest of the day because I like running around and I found that the drum circle was really claustrophopic. I also enjoyed the day beacause it was like a day off. We took a break and got to do activities with each other. It was really fun!

Do clothes shape who you are?

Oct.6th Do clothes make the man? a question asking if you can be judged by what you where. Many people think that if you where things like high end clothing that you will act more like you are rich or someone that can rule everything. If you wore something like a high end suit people believe that you are very high end. On the other hand if you wear extreamly sloppy clothes people believe you are sloppy.

Although people may judge you by your clothes real people don't. A real person would do something like get to know the person they are judging. For all they know that person wearing lazy clothes could be a billionaire. I believe that clothes do not judge who you are unless you want them to. Concluding, I believe that clothes do not make a person.
